Currently the host of Love Island: Aftersun, Maura is now a contestant on The Traitors Season 4. Where is Maura Higgins from and where does she get her accent?
Hailing from Ballymahon, County Longford, Ireland, she initially trained to be a hairdresser and then moved into modeling. By 2014, Higgins was a Monster Energy drink model known as a Monster girl. After a few years of modeling and music video appearances, she shifted towards her Love Island era in 2019.
How long has Maura Higgins been associated with Love Island?
The 35-year-old entered the Love Island competition dating franchise in 2019 as a contestant in the UK version's fifth season. She ended the season in fourth place. In 2020, she was invited to be a guest panelist on Love Island: Aftersun.
