Celebrate the NBA's Launch on NBC and Peacock at NBC's 30 Rocks Event
To help welcome the NBA, NBC is hosting a six-day basketball-inspired event in New York City.
The NBA is making a splash on NBC and Peacock. To highlight its arrival ahead of the start of the NBA season, NBCUniversal is going all out with an interactive 30 Rocks event at 30 Rockefeller in New York.
What is 30 Rocks?
To prepare for the 2025-2026 NBA season tipping off on Tuesday, Oct 21, NBC will be launching a basketball-themed takeover of its Rockefeller Center headquarters. From Oct 16-21, the North Plaza of Rockefeller Center in New York City will be transformed into an interactive LED basketball court that will feature live news segments, fan events, giveaways, and surprise appearances from NBA and NBCUniversal talent.
NBA legends John Starks, Ron Harper, Jason Richardson, and Joakim Noah are all slated to make appearances throughout the course of the event. Maria Taylor, Michael Bublé, and Carl Radke will also be in attendance. Each day of the event will feature a slate of different activities.
