This fall, it's time to head to summer camp.
Peacock and A24's Crystal Lake series tells the story of grieving mother Pam Voorhees like you've never seen it before. The eight-episode Friday the 13th prequel show takes place one year after Pam has lost her son, Jason Voorhees, in a tragic drowning accident. As Pam struggles with her grief — "I just have this feeling he's still out there," she says in the official Crystal Lake trailer above — we learn that a "bear attack" has put the community on edge.
Soon, events unfold that leave the fictional New Jersey town's citizens wondering who, or what, is stalking them.
Crystal Lake stars four-time Emmy nominee Linda Cardellini as the iconic Pam Voorhees, with Long Bright River actor Callum Vinson recurring as her young son Jason.

Meet the Crystal Lake cast
Linda Cardellini as Pam Voorhees
A screen actress since the mid 1990s, Linda Cardellini first rose to fame as Lindsay Weir in NBC's cult-favorite drama Freaks and Geeks, before playing nurse Sam Taggart on ER for six years. She earned her first Emmy nom as Outstanding Guest Actress for playing Sylvia Rosen on Mad Men, her second for playing Judy Hale in Dead to Me, and a third for her role in DTF St. Louis. She's also Hawkeye's wife, Laura Barton, in the Marvel Universe — but to other fans, she'll always be Velma from the early-2000s live action Scooby-Doo movies.

William Catlett as Levon
Actor William Catlett's past TV credits include the TV series Black Lightning, True Story, Love Is ___, and Constellation. In 2024, he appeared in the film Never Let Go, played Rickles in Universal's horror-comedy movie Abigail, and starred in the film Color Book.
Catlett plays Levon, a police officer in Crystal Lake.
Gwendolyn Sundstrom as Grace
Actress Gwendolyn Sundstrom makes her series debut as a young resident of Crystal Lake who is central to the plot. Her previous credits are the short film I Don't Think I Believe in Love and the film I'm Beginning to See the Light.
Sundstrom portrays the character Grace on Crystal Lake.
Cameron Scoggins as Dorf
Cameron Scoggins played Zach Welles, a billionaire super fan of Rayna James (Connie Britton) in Season 5 and 6 of NBC's Nashville. He's also had guest roles in TV series Shades of Blue, The Deuce, Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, The Blacklist, and Chicago Med, and appeared in the films Lost Nation, Wetware, and Ironwood.
Scoggins plays Dorf, a police officer who works alongside Levon, in Crystal Lake.
Devin Kessler as Brianna
Crystal Lake marks Devin Kessler's second series role: She played activist Afeni Shakur in the biopic series Godfather of Harlem. Her additional credits include the short films Baby Not This Time and Juicy.
Kessler plays Brianna in Crystal Lake.

Crystal Lake's supporting cast includes Callum Vinson as Jason
Callum Vinson
Young actor Callum Vinson has already racked up an impressive list of roles in popular and critically-acclaimed TV shows. In fact, Crystal Lake marks his third Peacock Original. Vinson played Thomas Fitzpatrick in Amanda Seyfried's limited series Long Bright River, earning a 2026 Young Artist Award nomination.
He guest-starred on an episode of Poker Face, and played Henry Collins in seven episodes of SyFy's Chucky. Vinson's credits roles include The Son in The Night Agent Season 3, and voicing Piglet in the animated series Playdate with Winnie the Pooh. He also appeared in the films Coup! and Oak.
