If you saw the March 30 episode, "Here a Righteous Woman Comes," you know exactly which romantic shake-up it's referring to. Guest star Ariana Madix returns as Dr. Brooke Emerson, cardiac surgeon and Bruce's ex, in the finale episode.
Is St. Denis Medical coming back for Season 3?
Yes — NBC officially announced the renewal of St. Denis Medical back in February.
Happy's Place was also among the shows renewed for the 2026-2027 television season.

In a statement following the renewal announcements, Lisa Katz, President, Scripted Content, NBC & Peacock, commended both shows for delivering "comedic brilliance" in their first two seasons.
"Both St. Denis Medical and Happy's Place have delivered comedic brilliance over their first two seasons, truly connecting with our audience with hilarious characters, and remain hugely important and successful programs to our primetime and Peacock lineup," Katz said.
