Fresh off their victory on the hit Peacock series, the fan-favorite pairing "Brinity" revealed they're soaking up every second together now that cameras have stopped rolling. Though adjusting to life beyond the Villa has come with one unexpected twist.

During a virtual appearance on TODAY's Wednesday, July 15 episode, Bryce and Trinity opened up about transitioning back to the real world after spending six weeks at each other's side. After building their relationship while living together around the clock, the newly crowned winners admitted that they've experienced some jitters now that they're no longer together 24/7.

"I definitely wanna be wherever Bryce is, that's for sure," Trinity told TODAY's Craig Melvin. "I don't like being away from him, I get, like, a little separation anxiety."

Bryce and Trinity are already making plans to close the long-distance

After diving into the thrills of their summer in Fiji, the Season 8 winners were eager to discuss their plans now that Bryce and Trinity are back stateside. With Bryce from Los Angeles and Trinity based in Virginia, the couple faces a long-distance relationship, so Trinity will be enjoying her time in Los Angeles upon returning to the States. She also has plans to close the distance between her and Bryce real soon.

"This is, like, my first time out, being outside of Virginia, in LA and being around. So I definitely want to kind of explore L.A. more and see how I like it," Trinity revealed. "But Virginia, they're not seeing me for too long. I'm not gonna be there for too long."

After Trinity opened up about the separation anxiety she's experienced, Bryce echoed her desire for proximity, highlighting Love Island USA's experiment and the unique closeness it fosters. This wasn't a typical happily ever after.

"It's crazy, it's something we weren't anticipating, just how much our connection has affected us outside [the Villa]," Bryce admitted, sweetly adding that he experienced some unease when Trinity runs errands without him, teasing that his heart rate skyrocketed.

"You spend 24 hours with each other every day for like, almost 50 days straight, you know? You got to be around, and it's an emotional thing, the whole show," Bryce explained. "There's a lot of intensity, there's a lot of anxiety, there's a lot of pressure. And like, one thing that brings us closer, that comfort in those moments that we look at each other... Thanks to the mindful alchemy of the game, Trinity argued that it's not hard to fall in love and grow chemistry during the Love Island USA experience. "We've been around each other for six weeks. We're around each other all day, 24 hours. We're having intimate conversations that, you know, sometimes you don't see. We have those really heart-to-heart moments," Trinity shared.

"Genuinely, I feel like if you could be around somebody that long and you think that you won't fall in love, or love somebody, that's kind of insane," Trinity quipped. She added that it certainly helped that she and Bryce are "so alike" and were "always in sync" while navigating the Villa chaos. "Just being around him, and getting to know him, and the little sweet gestures, and the things that he does, like it definitely made me fall for him, like, hard," Trinity sweetly said.
