SPOILER WARNING: This story reveals major plot points from Episodes 1-3 of The Traitors Season 4.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams arrived to compete in Season 4 of The Traitors with high hopes. The competition series pits the star-studded cast against each as a group of Faithfuls to try to weed out those secretly deemed Traitors. Both sides work together on missions to help fill a winning prize pot of up to $250,000.

How to Watch

Stream The Traitors Thursdays at 9/8c exclusively on Peacock.

The show’s highly anticipated return also includes Housewife alums Lisa Rinna, Candiace Dillard-Bassett, and Caroline StanburyThe former Real Housewife of New York City's Dorinda Medley returned this season after being murdered early on in Season 3. This year’s cast also has beloved NFL mom Donna Kelce, One Tree Hill’s Stephen Colletti, and Olympian Tara Lipinksi.

Porsha — who'd hoped to be declared a Traitor by Host Alan Cumming — prepped for her time on the show by watching previous seasons with her 6-year-old daughter Pilar, she told Peacock Blog in an exclusive interview. Unfortunately, her time was cut short in Episode 2 when she was the first player of the game to be Banished at the Roundtable, despite being a Faithful.

Porsha boldly theorized the Traitors' motives, speaking from their perspective by using the collective pronoun "we," inadvertently implicating herself in the traitorous deception. She was then called out for "misspeaking" by comedian Ron Funches, which made her an easy target

Read on to learn Porsha’s strategy going into the game, her banishment and when she started to suspect some Traitors were in her midst — specifically a fellow housewife.

Peacock Blog: Let’s talk about the Secret Traitor and the Traitors’ identities. Did you catch on at all?

Porsha Williams: As far as the Secret Traitor goes, which we learned was Donna, I clocked that tea day one… When Alan showed her card and she came back over to us, she was a little bit more chatty than she was prior to, and I said, 'It's Donna.' I said, 'She's so sweet, of course I love her, she loves me too,' but I said, 'Donna's a cold-hearted killer'… I told everybody that I thought it was Donna, so I'm patting myself on the back for already knowing that.

I didn't suspect Lisa. Lisa kinda just walked around and sat under [the radar] like Carolyn [Wiger]. She wasn't on my radar, honestly… she tricked me, but Candiace became on my radar after she lied about Michael. When she said that Michael was on the boat and he said put it in a Housewife grave, and then when I asked her about it in the kitchen, she said, 'No, I didn't say that, that was the day before.' I clocked it. I said 'She's a Traitor,' but I did not call her out because she's a Housewife, and Housewives are normally hunted on the show. We need to stick together.

She basically set me up as a pawn against [Michael], which is crazy because…where with Housewives on Traitors do they not stick together in the beginning. Of course, towards the end where it's do or die, you may lie to someone, but out of the gate, you use a fellow Housewife and lie to her? No, no, no, no.

Did you feel betrayed? Have you talked since?

100% I felt betrayed. No, I have not talked to her.

Let's talk about the "misspeaking."

Listen, I know I am the what, the misspoken queen, okay. Me and some of the other housewives who just have a camera on us and we say anything.

I've said a lot of different things on my show and be like, ‘Oh, I didn't mean to say that.’ This was not the case, okay? I'm not gonna let it go down in history that I misspoke because I did not. What I was doing when he walked in the room was what he said, "holding court,” and I was talking to other Faithfuls saying, 'We have to figure this out.' I am not here to be a lamb Faithful. I wanna be aggressive, I wanna hunt the Traitors. I don't want them to hunt us. My full sentence that you probably didn't hear, was, ‘Okay, guys, let's get ourselves in the mindset of a Traitor. If I'm a Traitor, I already killed Ian, you know, or we killed Ian. Is it because he won Big Brother? Is it because he's really intelligent? Is it because he's very strategic?’ So, I was talking and thinking out loud to other Faithfuls...

Then he used on top of that, 'Oh, well, she said 'It's four Traitors.' I don't have inside information, as you know now, because I wasn't a Traitor. That was me being very intelligent in reading the situation. Alan did something in this game that he's never done before. He chose a Traitor right in front of us out of the gate. That means that's an extra Traitor. Every other episode of Traitors, there's been like three or four. So I said, ‘Okay, that means he chose one already, he's gonna choose three at the round table. We now have four Traitors.’

What was your strategy heading into the castle and who did you want to align with?

I originally wanted to be a Traitor, all right?

No one will suspect me because I'm happy go lucky. They'll think I'm my heads in the clouds, and I'm not paying attention, but really I'm murdering everybody. I'm strategizing, I'm clearing the table, right?

When I realized I was a Faithful, I was like, you know what? I'm gonna be aggressive. I want to be the leader of the Faithfuls. I know I can do it. I'm the type, if you're watching a movie with me, within the first couple of minutes, I figured it out... I think maybe a part of where I thought I was gonna have my alliance was with the Housewives was misled. I should not have thought that the Housewives were gonna align with me just because we're Housewives… as you can see that was not the move.

Did you ask any Housewives who've been on the show before for advice?

So, I was in the school of Traitors by myself, okay? Me and my little baby Pilar, my 6-year-old, we were watching Traitors through-and-through, watching episodes over and over. I wish I would have been able to ask Phaedra or Shereé or anything, but they keep you so quiet. [The casting] is so hush-hush, that I was fearful for my first born child! [Laughs]. I was like, 'They're gonna take it!'

So I didn't ask anybody a word, I just literally watched the shows and decided what my game was gonna be when I got there.

Porsha Williams wears a bright pink full body outfit on The Traitors Episode 401.

We didn't get to see the rest of your outfits.

That was the saddest part when I came back to that room and I was like, ‘They missed this moment and that moment in this one,’ so yeah, you know, hopefully we're gonna pray for a Dorinda moment. Justice for Porsha!
