This isn't the first time the indie star has shared the screen with Jennifer Garner.

In Peacock's The Five-Star Weekend, Jennifer Garner plays Hollis Shaw, a grieving food blogger who invites a friend from each phase of her life to her idyllic Nantucket home for a bonding session that doesn't go how she planned. Closely based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand, the show dives into the complicated lives of each "star" (played by Garner, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, D'Arcy Carden, and Gemma Chan). But looming over it all is the man whose absence kicks off the story: Hollis's recently deceased husband, Matthew.
The role is just the most recent entry in Hamilton's nearly five-decade career resume, which includes cult-classic 1990s indie movies Kicking and Screaming and The House of Yes, and recent horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen.

When it comes to adapting his acting style to each project, Hamilton told Tribecafilm.com, "I’m always just trying to figure it out. Every time I think I’ve got the hang of it, something comes along that’s really well-written or different stylistically from what I’ve done. Just because you had success on your last job using a certain tool doesn’t mean that will translate to your next project. Every job feels like starting from scratch for me."
Watch The Five-Star Weekend beginning July 9 on Peacock.
