Everything to Know About Married at First Sight Season 20

Married at First Sight Season 20 premiered on Sunday, July 12, exclusively on Peacock. 

New episodes of Married at First Sight are available to stream weekly on Thursdays, only on Peacock. New installments will drop weekly in multi-episode batches, and Season 20 will air a total of 20 episodes, culminating with the finale and reunion in August 2026.

Married at First Sight has introduced a few new changes for Season 20. 

For starters, the cast is bigger than ever before, following seven total couples throughout the experiment. Additionally, this season is set in Seattle, Washington — marking a first for the show, while Season 20 has also welcomed two new relationship experts to the mix. 

Married at First Sight Season 20's new experts are Paul C. Brunson and Dr. Lisa Paz, who will guide the newly married couples throughout their next chapter together.

According to his website, Brunson is a globally recognized relationship expert, TV personality, and author based in London, best known for his role as an expert on Married at First Sight UK, where he has provided counsel to couples since Season 6. Brunson is also the co-host of the British reality series Celebs Go Dating. Brunson boasts some impressive credentials that will hopefully set the Season 20 couples up for success; he's the head of global research at Tinder and published a relationship advice book, 2012's Complicated (But It Doesn't Have To Be).

Also eager to weigh in on Season 20's roster of singles is relationship expert Dr. Paz, a board-certified sex therapist and licensed marriage and family therapist based in Miami. With over two decades of experience, she's helped individuals and couples navigate intimacy and relationship issues and now brings her unique expertise to Married at First Sight. 

The Married at First Sight Season 20 cast features 14 singles, matched up into seven couples by relationship experts Paul C. Brunson and Dr. Lisa Paz. Ranging in age from 28 to 47, this season's cast boasts a variety of professions, including a data analyst, sanitation worker, restaurant owner, and even a former reality TV star.

Married at First Sight begins with a major relationship chapter — wedding day. Meeting for the very first time at the altar, the cast of singles say "I do" to a total stranger, sight unseen. From there, the newlyweds go on their honeymoon and then move in together, navigating the realities of married life. 

While some couples seem to fall right into a romantic groove, other newlyweds will experience some turbulence in their honeymoon phase. While physical incompatibilities challenge some couples, others struggle to open up to their new partners. As always, it all comes down to Decision Day, when the couples choose whether they'd like to remain married or call it quits.

Married at First Sight Season 20 was filmed in Seattle, Washington. 

In an interview with The Seattle Times, Married at First Sight executive producer Chris Coelen explained that they chose the location because “its people come from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, making for a really interesting pool of singles." Coelen added that they they filmed in late summer into fall of 2025, which happens to be "one of its most beautiful times of year" in Seattle. 

Yes! In the first look at Married at First Sight Season 20, it's clear that these Seattle singles will be embarking on a journey unlike ever before as they meet their matches on their wedding day in hopes of cementing a forever bond.

"I'm ready for my husband, I'm so ready," one cast member says excitedly in the trailer amid clips of the couples preparing to walk down the aisle. Another single admits, "The kind of guys I've picked are not the right ones, maybe I'm the problem," setting the tone for some long-awaited matchmaking. 

Marrying a stranger isn't so simple as these couples learn quite quickly what irks them about their new partner. As one participant eloquently puts it: "This could be the start of a very successful marriage, or maybe not."
