Mean Girls
In Mean Girls, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) transfers to the challenging jungle known as high school in suburban Illinois after years of being homeschooled in Africa. There, she meets high school outcast Janis (Lizzy Caplan), who isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and her gay best friend Damian (Daniel Franzese). They encourage Cady to infiltrate the Plastics, the popular trio who rule the school under the vicious reign of “mean girl” Regina George (Rachel McAdams). When Cady does successfully become part of the Plastics, she loses herself in the ruse, blurring the line between what’s fake and what’s real. (And yes, there's a hot guy — Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) — in the middle of all the chaos.)
Directed by Mark Waters and written by Tina Fey, Mean Girls also stars Tim Meadows, Amy Poehler, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, Ana Gasteyer, and Neil Flynn.

In the 2011 sequel, we're back in the halls of North Shore High, where no-nonsense senior Jo Mitchell (Meaghan Martin) transfers into. It’s just a matter of time before she runs into a new era of the Plastics clique, run by the scheming Mandi Weatherly (Maiara Walsh). When Jo befriends sweet outsider Abby Hanover (Jennifer Stone), she's faced with a classic teenage dilemma: being popular or authentic. Jo and Abby are worthy foes as they engage in petty warfare for top school billing, while trying not to lose themselves in the moment.
Fans of the first film will be reunited with Principal Duvall (Tim Meadows), who's still trying to keep these “mean girls” in check.
