Key Takeaways

  • As of July 2026, 12 Married at First Sight couples are still married, including Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, Ashley Petta and Anthony D'Amico, and Camille Parsons and Thomas McDonald.
  • Several seasons produced no lasting marriages, including Seasons 2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 15, 17, and 19, showing that many couples split after Decision Day and once filming ends.
  • Some long-term couples have built families and celebrated major milestones after the show, with multiple pairs welcoming children and maintaining lasting relationships years after their seasons aired.

As each season of Married at First Sight begins with hope, butterflies, and plenty of wedding day jitters, meeting spouses for the first time at the altar often proves to be the easy part. Making the marriage last is when the real test begins.

While the Married at First Sight experiment helps provide a vivid snapshot of married life, couples get a true idea of their new chapters once they leave the cameras behind and start building a life together in the real world. Some Married at First Sight couples have found forever love, while others discovered the experiment wasn't meant to last. And whether you're a longtime fan or new viewer tuning in for a milestone Season 20, it's always fun to see where the former Married at First Sight couples ended up.

Married at First Sight heads to Seattle for Season 20

Are those wedding bells we hear? Married at First Sight is back for a milestone 20th season with brand new experts, more couples than ever before, and 20 episodes that will have us on the edge of out seats.

Premiering July 12 exclusively on Peacock, Married at First Sight welcomes relationship experts Paul C. Brunson and Dr. Lisa Paz, who've used their decades of experience and matchmaking skills to pair up this season's Seattle-based singles.

As Married at First Sight returns to our TVs this summer, the hit reality series has already been renewed for Season 21 and is currently casting in Charlotte, North Carolina. You can get all of the casting details here!

Do Married at First Sight couples actually stay together?

While the Married at First Sight experiment is designed for happily-ever-after, it is up to the couples to determine if the experts found the perfect match on Decision Day. The decision comes at the end of weeks of navigating married life together, culminating in the high-stakes verdict: will you stay married, or sign the divorce papers?

While Decision Day is designed to provide an easy out for any panic-stricken newlyweds, it's also common for couples to split up after the Married at First Sight cameras have stopped rolling. There are no couples still together from Married at First Sight Season 2 (New York/New Jersey), Season 3 (Atlanta), Season 4 (Miami), Season 13 (Houston), Season 14 (Boston), Season 15 (San Diego), Season 17 (Denver), and Season 19 (Austin).

Married at First Sight's success stories include babies and milestone anniversaries

Split of Briana Myles with Vincent Morales, and Doug Hehner with Jamie Otis.

While many years have passed since Married at First Sight first premiered, Season 1 couple Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner remain one of the show's biggest success stories. Not only are they still together, but the couple celebrated a second wedding after wrapping filming and welcomed two children together.

In honor of the couple's fifth anniversary in 2019, Hehner told People, "I don't want to sound corny, but we owe our lives to this TV show and the experts that stuck with us. It was life-changing for us. We're very happy with where we are. We're still growing as a couple."

Otis and Hehner aren't the only couple to build families after the Married at First Sight experiment, either. Season 5's Ashley Petta and Anthony D'Amico, Season 7's Danielle Bergman and Bobby Dodd, and Season 9's Deonna McNeill and Gregory Okotie all have welcomed little ones and built families since finding love on Married at First Sight. Season 10's Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd, and Season 12's Briana Myles and Vincent Morales are also happy parents.
