Who Plays Bill Clinton in ted Season 2? Seth MacFarlane’s Surprise Appearance, Explained
Seth MacFarlane really likes to keep himself busy on the second season of his hit Peacock comedy.
Season 2 of Peacock’s hit comedy series ted is streaming now on Peacock, and the eight-episode run features plenty of hilarious twists and turns for the Bennett family as they navigate everything from side-jobs to senior year in the 1990s-set sitcom.
But one of the biggest surprises? That would be an appearance by U.S. President Bill Clinton (though to be clear, it’s not actually the former president in the role), as he makes a pit stop through town during his campaign and visits the Dunkin’ Donuts location where Matty (Scott Grimes) and Susan (Alanna Ubach) have picked up jobs to make some extra money during a slow period. The moment takes place in Episode 5 of ted Season 2.

Matty, always the outspoken one, decides he’s going to use this rare opportunity for a face-to-face conversation with the president to give him a piece of his mind. And for a moment there, he does, telling him he’s doing a bad job as president — prompting Clinton to clear the shop so they can chat about his grievances in private.
That’s where things go hilariously off the rails, as Clinton berates Matty with an onslaught on insults and bullies him into submission, before taking his donuts and throwing his cold cup of coffee back in Matty’s face on his way out the door. But didn’t that voice for Clinton sound a bit… familiar?
