What are the 2026 ISU Four Continents Championships?

The final major international figure skating event before the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, the ISU (International Skating Union) Four Continents Championships is an aptly globe-spanning competition between skaters, featuring athletes from Africa, Asia, North America, and Oceania. And as you might expect, the Four Continents Championships offer fans an early, pre-Games preview of some of the same big figure skating names we’ll be seeing throughout the Milan Cortina Olympics.

Every skater in every discipline of the Four Continents Championships will stream live on Peacock, including the U.S. pairs duo of Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov — two-time national champions — who are expected to compete after winning the Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championship just two weeks ago. China’s Sui Wenjing and Han Cong will be skating this weekend as well, before looking to defend their 2022 Olympic pairs title in Milan. In ice dance, Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik — named to the 2026 U.S. Olympic team — also are expected to compete.

Bradie Tennell, 2018 Olympic team bronze medalist, and Sarah Everhardt, who placed third at the 2025 U.S. National Championships, also will represent the United States after placing second and third, respectively, in last year’s Four Continents Championships. Tennell placed fourth and Everhardt finished fifth at the 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Japan’s Mone Chiba and Ami Nakai, who will both make their Olympic debuts in Milan, also are planning to skate.
