Why did Married at First Sight choose Seattle for Season 20?

In the eyes of executive producer Chris Coelen, Seattle was the ideal filming location for Married at First Sight Season 20. In an interview with The Seattle Times, Coelen explained that the men and women who call Seattle home "come from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, making for a really interesting pool of singles."

Of course, it always helps to have the support of the city itself. "The local businesses and community were incredibly welcoming, and we even filmed aboard a ferry to capture one groom's everyday commute," Coelen added.

Past seasons of Married at First Sight have also taken place in big cities like Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Austin.
