Competing in teams of two (one celebrity and their non-famous partner), duos are stripped of every luxury — including perk and privilege that comes with being famous — as they face a "series of physical and psychological challenges." Each team must rely on their partner as they navigate the jungle not just physically, but mentally as well. The show promises that the "treacherous environment will take its toll."
Ultimately, the unforgiving jungle will reveal which celebrities can survive living outside their their comfort zone and whether their partners can deal with the ramifications of being stuck in the jungle with a very famous person. The last duo standing will be rewarded with the $100,000 grand prize.
