Director Curry Barker’s horror 2026 hit, Obsession, is making its much anticipated streaming debut this week on Peacock.

Michael Johnston as Baron "Bear" Bailey

Actor Michael Johnston is best known on television for playing Corey Bryant in the hit horror series Teen Wolf. As a voice actor, he can be heard as Young Nathan Summers in the animated revival X-Men ’97, and is well loved for his video game work voicing characters in titles like Marvel's Avengers, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and recently, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba games. 

In Obsession, Johnston plays Baron "Bear” Bailey, a a music store employee with a huge crush on his friend Nikki. When he goes about winning her heart in a very unconventional way, Mike has no idea the terrible consequences that he’s unleashed.

Cooper Tomlinson is a friend and creative collaborator of Curry Barker. Together, they co-created the sketch comedy channel "that's a bad idea,” and co-produced the film Milk & Serial (2024) and Obsession. Tomlinson is also an actor in many short films and the series Dutton Ranch, where he played Deputy Cecil Post.

In Obsession, Tomlinson plays Ian, the mutual friend of Bear and Nikki who is caught in the middle of the aftermath of Bear’s drastic decision. 

Andy Richter as Carter Harper

Comedian, writer, actor and podcast host Andy Richter (Elf, Late Night with Conan O’Brien) lends his comedic sensibilities to Obsession as Bear’s music store boss, and an observer of the friend group which includes his daughter, Sarah (Megan Lawless).
