As the trailer reveals, Rachel Carey is still trying to unearth the truths obscured by "Correction," the term for intelligence officials' digital manipulation of footage and audio to misdirect those watching it. This season, Carey is leading the charge. But bad actors are quickly outsmarting the technology, including the "Veritas smart cam" that Carey's team is using to sniff out deceivers.

Then, a shooting happens, and CCTV footage doesn't show the same gunman that Carey sees firsthand. Has the video been "Corrected," or is Carey the target of a conspiracy that involves members of her inner circle?

"They're all suspect," she says in the trailer, as we learn her former colleague Danny Hart (Ben Miles) is cagey about what he's up to these days, and her nemesis wants a favor.
