How the Dagger Twist Was Used in The Traitors Final Banishment (RECAP)
Ron twisted the dagger extra hard against an innocent Faithful.
SPOILER WARNING: This story reveals major plot points from Episodes 1-10 of The Traitors Season 4.
One of the most consequential The Traitors episodes of Season 4 remains the "The Black Banquet." Not only did it feature the dramatic Murder of Yam Yam Arocho in plain sight by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna, but it also set up the ticking time bomb advantage of the dagger prize that was awarded to Traitor Rob Rausch.
It's taken three more episodes for it to finally come into play as Rob bided his time to unsheathe the powerful advantage to use in the most beneficial Elimination Roundtable of his choosing, bolstering his personal strategy. With his game play so strong all season, he was able to hold out on using it until Episode 10, "Do You Know the Enemy?" where he laid it down to ensure a decisive Banishment vote.

Check out below how it all went down around the table, and who was the dagger's victim.
What advantage does the dagger reward give a player?
A brand-new incentive for the franchise, possession of the dagger gives the person who possesses it two votes during a Roundtable Elimination vote of their choosing. The possessor has to use the dagger in a Roundtable vote by Episode 10, or it can't be used at all. (It's not eligible for any Finale episode voting.)
Who has been in possession of The Traitors dagger reward?
Traitor Rob Rausch made sure he won the dagger reward back in the Episode 7 challenge, and he's been holding it ever since. For a time, only his fellow dagger competitors, Colton, Eric, Mark, Natalie and Stephen, knew Rob held the dagger. However in Episode 9, host Alan Cumming asked the dagger possessor to reveal who owned it, and the rest of the players found out it was him going into that Elimination Roundtable vote.

Who did Rob Rausch use the dagger reward against?
As soon as Faithful Eric Nam agreed to Rob's "Join or Die" ultimatum to switch allegiances and become a Traitor in Episode 8, the dagger became a part of their turret discussions. However, because the Faithful ousted Traitor Candiace Dillard Bassett, and then couldn't figure out another one post that victory, Rob was confident that he didn't have to use the dagger until it was required in Episode 10.

Going into the Elimination Roundtable, Rob and Eric were united about helping swing the Faithful to go after gamer Natalie Anderson. They were aware there was heavy chatter about Rob being the Traitor coming from Natalie and Tara Lipinski. But Rob was adept at shattering the Faithful's focus on him and instead used his arguments and allies (Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas) to turn the table against Natalie. He sealed the already done deal by using his two votes to banish another Faithful from the game.
The finale episode and Reunion Special for The Traitors Season 4 airs next Thursday, February 26 only on Peacock.
