The Paper

From paper sales to local government, there are lots of workplace laughs to be had on Peacock.

We all know that bittersweet feeling of pressing play on our favorite show’s finale episode. The best ensemble comedies make us feel like we’re part of the gang, and it can be tough to say goodbye. But before you restart the same show from the very beginning, check out these 11 workplace comedies for your daily dose of laughter.

The Paper

Peacock’s new Original workplace comedy The Paper follows newbie editor-in-chief Ned Sampson (Domhnall Gleeson) as he tries to revive the struggling Midwestern newspaper, The Toledo Truth Teller. His ragtag group of reporters include Sabrina Impacciatore as the colorful Italian managing editor, Chelsea Frei as intrepid writer Mare Pritti, and The Office alum Oscar Nuñez reprising his role as accountant Oscar Martinez. More good news: The stories don’t end here as Peacock renewed The Paper for Season 2.

The Office (and Superfan Episodes)

The popularizer of the mockumentary-style sitcom, The Office documents goofy-but-heartwarming coworkers at a Scranton, Pennsylvania paper company overseen by the endearingly incapable regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell). Already an honorary Dunder Mifflin employee? Try The Office Superfan Episodes, which include not only deleted scenes but also alternate takes.

Led by the ambitious yet wacky executive director Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey), the hospital staff includes workaholic supervising nurse Alex (Allison Tolman), sheltered nurse Matt (Mekhi Leeper), and arrogant trauma surgeon Bruce (Josh Lawson).
