Three weeks after the Summer House Season 10 reunion wrapped, Amanda Batula sat down with Lindsay Hubbard to answer some lingering questions about her new relationship with West Wilson. Among the topics Lindsay brought up in Summer House: The Aftermath (now streaming on Peacock) was whether or not Amanda and West had any serious conversations about their future.
According to Amanda, she and West had "partly" discussed what's ahead for them in the long term, particularly given "the severity and the gravity of the situation" that had also majorly impacted Kyle Cooke, Ciara Miller, along with the rest of their castmates and friends. She went on to recount some of her and West's relationship talks during the meetup which was filmed on May 13.
As Amanda shared with Lindsay, "I was like, 'OK, if you really care about me, like, if what you're saying is true, like, if this is how you actually feel, like, this couldn't be casual. You'd have to see a future. Like, you'd have to know that, like, I would, like, want to have kids, like, soon.'"

After clarifying that she and West "haven't talked about having kids" together, Amanda continued, "I've had these conversations where I'm like, 'This is my life, and, like, if I'm your friend and you, like, have these feelings for me, like, you need to be aware about of all this stuff.' Like, we've had conversations about this, which is also why I felt, like, safe in it."
Inside Lindsay Hubbard's "tough" advice for Amanda Batula about West Wilson
Having already promised to give Amanda some much-needed "hard truth and tough love," Lindsay immediately pointed out that those types of discussion are "kind of what happens" in dating and were not unique to her and West. She further noted that she'd had similar conversations with "literally every boyfriend" she's ever had, prompting Amanda to remind her that she hadn't dated in the past decade she was with Kyle.
"So then why don't you do that?" Lindsay asked. "That's what you should be doing right now. Get the life experience, so you don't make these f--ked up decisions that are gonna mess up your entire f--king life."

Then, Lindsay told Amanda that West was "already out there embarrassing" her, specifically mentioning that West had called his ex Meija Moreno that very morning, because he was "so scared about what's gonna come out."
"Imagine f--king up so bad that we all forgot how bad of a husband Kyle was to you. Like, you blew up your f--king life when you were winning," Lindsay declared. "The only way to save yourself in this moment is to separate yourself from the sinking ship that West Wilson is. Be the Rose on the Titanic. Let go of the hand. He's gotta go."
Amanda's response? "I know."
Why Amanda Batula questioned if she'd "confused" her feelings for West Wilson
Earlier in her conversation with Lindsay, Amanda admitted that she'd made some "poor decisions" amid her and Kyle's split which they announced in January. She ultimately chalked up her lapses in judgment to that fact that she'd "lost [herself] completely" and had become an unrecognizable shell of her former self as her and Kyle's four-year marriage crumbled.
That all changed, however, when she started regularly going out with West and his friends in February. "I felt just like young and like in my 20s and like fun again," Amanda explained. "And I think maybe I confused, like, going out with West and, like, falling in love with myself again and, like, remembering who I am, with, like, feelings."
After describing the "euphoric" emotions that she experienced while rediscovering her identity with West, Amanda conceded, "It was hard to, like, think rationally or logically through any of that."
