In just a couple of weeks, March Madness will take hold, as the best men's and women's teams in college basketball battle it out in two of the most unpredictable national championship tournaments you're ever likely to see. Before that, though, it's conference tournament time, and if you're watching the defending women's national champions UConn, you'll want to keep an eye on the Big East

The undefeated UConn Huskies and the other 10 teams in Big East women's basketball are set to face off for a weekend of tournament action beginning March 6, and for some teams it's the last chance to prove themselves before national tournament selection. Luckily for hoops fans, every game will stream live on Peacock, so let's take a closer look at the action.

How can you watch the Big East women's basketball tournament?

The Big East women's tournament tips off Friday, March 6 at 11 a.m. ET, from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The tournament will feature multiple games over three days, with the championship game arriving Monday, March 9 to close it all out. All 10 games of the tournament will stream live on Peacock.

Who's playing in the Big East women's basketball tournament on Peacock?

All 11 teams competing in Big East women's basketball will participate in the tournament, and they've all been assigned seed numbers according to their conference records. The seeds for the 2026 conference tournaments look like this:

  1. UConn Huskies
  2. Villanova Wildcats
  3. Seton Hall Pirates
  4. Marquette Golden Eagles
  5. Creighton Bluejays
  6. St. John's Red Storm
  7. Providence Friars
  8. Georgetown Hoyas
  9. Butler Bulldogs
  10. DePaul Blue Demons
  11. Xavier Musketeers

The bottom six seeds will face each other in the first round, while the top five seeds will get a first round bye and join the action in the quarterfinals, meeting the winners from the first round. Winners from the quarterfinals advance to the semifinals, and the final two teams will play in the Big East Championship Game on March 9.

March 6 – First Round

  • Game 1: No. 8 Georgetown vs. No. 9 Butler, 11 a.m. 
  • Game 2: No. 7 Providence vs. No. 10 DePaul, 1:30 p.m.  
  • Game 3: No. 6 St. John’s vs. No. 11 Xavier, 4 p.m.  

March 7 – Quarterfinals 

  • Game 4: Game 1 winner vs. No. 1 UConn, Noon 
  • Game 5: No. 4 Marquette vs. No. 5 Creighton, 2:30 p.m.  
  • Game 6: Game 2 winner vs. No. 2 Villanova, 7 p.m. 
  • Game 7: Game 3 winner vs. No. 3 Seton Hall, 9:30 p.m.  

March 8 – Semifinals 

  • Game 8: Game 4 winner vs. Game 5 winner, 2:30 p.m. 
  • Game 9: Game 6 winner vs. Game 7 winner, 5 p.m. 

March 9 - Final 

  • Game 10: Game 8 winner vs. Game 9 winner, 7 p.m.
