What's the theme of the 2026 Met Gala?
This year's theme is "Costume Art," which coincides with the museum's upcoming exhibit.
"The Costume Institute’s spring 2026 exhibition explores depictions of the dressed body across The Met’s vast collection, pairing garments with artworks to reveal the inherent relationship between clothing and the body," the museum explains.
The "Costume Art" exhibit will make its debut on May 10, 2026 and run until to January 10, 2027.
