How to Watch the Big East Men's Basketball Tournament on Peacock

Earlier this week, the Big East women's basketball squads wrapped up their annual conference tournament on Peacock, with the top-ranked UConn Huskies taking home the title. Now, it's time for the men's squads to kick off their own conference bracket, and Peacock once again has you covered if you want to catch the action.

This week, all 11 Big East men's teams will gather at Madison Square Garden for the Big East Tournament, including Top 25 national championship contenders like UConn and St. John's, and some teams that may just surprise us all. Peacock's got first round and quarterfinal tournament coverage for you this week, so let's take a closer look at how to watch.

When is the Big East Men's Basketball Tournament?

The Big East women wrapped up their tournament on March 9, and the men will tip off theirs on Wednesday, March 11. The tournament will run through the title game on March 14. Peacock is the place to be for the entire first round and half of the quarterfinals. To catch it all, open the Peacock app at 4 p.m. ET on March 11 for the first game of the tourney. 

Who's playing in the Big East Men's Basketball Tournament?

All 11 teams in the conference will participate in the Big East Tournament, with each assigned a seed ranking according to their conference win-loss record. The seeding for the 2026 edition is as follows:

  1. St. John's Red Storm
  2. UConn Huskies
  3. Villanova Wildcats
  4. Seton Hall Pirates
  5. Creighton Bluejays
  6. DePaul Blue Demons
  7. Marquette Golden Eagles
  8. Butler Bulldogs
  9. Providence Friars
  10. Xavier Musketeers
  11. Georgetown Hoyas

First Round - March 11

Game 1: Butler vs. Providence - 4 p.m. Eastern live on Peacock

Game 2: Marquette vs. Xavier - 6:30 p.m. Eastern live on Peacock

Game 3: DePaul vs. Georgetown - 9 p.m. Eastern live on Peacock

Quarterfinals - March 12

Game 4 - St. John's vs. Game 1 winner - Noon Eastern live on Peacock
