As supervillain Gru works to finish his nefarious plot to steal the moon, three orphan girls derail his plans as they try to make him their dad. For the adults, it’ll be fun to hear Steve Carell anchor the film with Gru's unplaceable Eastern European accent, and if you're a kid, Despicable Me marks the breakout debut of maybe the biggest movie stars of our time, the Minions – need we say more?

Arthur and the Invisibles (2006)

Arthur (Freddie Highmore)​ is only 10 years old, but ​when a developer threatens to take over his grandmother's house​, he leaps into action. Arthur embarks on a magical quest to ​the hidden world of the Minimoys, tiny, elf-like creatures living in his backyard. ​There, he joins forces with Princess Selenia (Madonna) and others to find a hidden treasure and confront the evil Maltazard.

Dino King (2012)

Speckles (Sin Yong-woo and Lee Hyung-suk), a Tarbosaurus, grows up and fights the Tyrannosaurus who destroyed his family. In this coming-of-age dino story, Speckles finds a mate, raises a family, and in the end, faces the fellow dinosaurs who altered the course of his life.

Cinderella (1965)

Have a throwback night with your children in the magical land of fairy tales. In this 1965 classic, Cinderella (Lesley Ann Warren) is forced to serve her evil stepmother and stepsisters. With the help of a fairy godmother, she attends a royal ball but loses one of her glass slippers and runs home before the midnight curse. The prince (Stuart Damon), who is captivated by Cinderella’s presence, sets out to find the woman who fits the abandoned glass shoe.
