Donna Kelce Reveals Which Son Got Her Involved with Traitors: Travis or Jason?
How did the famous football mom (and future T-Swift mom-in-law) get to the Scottish highlands?
Every season on Peacock's The Traitors, host Alan Cumming welcomes a fresh batch of eclectic celebrities and persons of note to play his game of the Faithful versus Traitors. For Season 4, 23 new contestants arrive at the Scottish castle grounds intending to stay alive over the span of 11 episodes and make it to the finale where they can win the whole game and earn up to $250,000.
Since the second season, the casting team for The Traitors has focused on gracing the castle halls with plenty of reality show veterans, athletes, actors, and the like. But there's always someone unexpected in the mix as well. For example, Season 2's former Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow or Season 3 royalty, Ivar Mountbatten.

The outside the box choice for Season 4 is clearly Donna Kelce, a retired banking VP and the enthusiastic mother of NFL football stars Jason and Travis Kelce. Immediately recognizable for her sons and her impending new role as mother-in-law to Travis' fiancée Taylor Swift, Donna Kelce arrives to Ardross Castle admittedly fangirling about being on the show like the rest of the players. But she can specifically point at one of her two sons for getting her hooked on The Traitors in the first place.

How Donna Kelce found out about The Traitors
Sharing a ride to the castle with fellow players Rob Cesternino, Monét X Change, and Lisa Rinna, Donna Kelce is asked by Monét if her sons know she's on The Traitors. She answered, "They're so excited. They're huge fans."
In fact, Kelce continued, "Jason is the one that got me involved. We just literally one weekend during playoffs, we binged it. It was great. I'm so excited to be here."
A retiree from her 30-plus year career in banking, Kelce often leaves her Florida home during the NFL football season to cheer Travis Kelce in person at his games, with Swift at her side. The pair are often captured cheering and chatting together by the live game coverage. But Donna said getting to fly solo as a competitor on The Traitors feels extra special.
"I never thought in a million years how I'd get this chance," Kelce said in her camera confessional. "When you get to a certain part in your life, and your kids are starting their own families, it's so important to reinvent yourself and do the things you've always dreamt of, and that's how I ended up in Scotland."
