When The Traitors Season 4 premieres on Thursday, January 8, exclusively on Peacock, actor Michael Rapaport will find himself competing alongside not one, not two, but five Real Housewives stars — effectively turning his run on the show into a total fanboy moment.

During an April 2023 video interview with News 12 New Jersey, Rapaport gushed over all things Housewives — especially the Garden State-edition of the franchise.
"I don't just like it — I love The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Rapaport admitted before rattling off the names of the cast members he adores. "I love every single thing about The Real Housewives of New Jersey."
The story of how the star became such a Housewives superfan is so relatable.
How did Michael Rapaport become a Real Housewives fan?
The actor and comedian revealed on the January 30, 2018 episode of his podcast, I Am Rapaport: Stereo Podcast, that although he doesn't remember exactly when he became a fan, it started when a football game he was watching "went wrong for me" — which made him wander upstairs to see what his wife was up to.
As it turns out, she was watching Real Housewives — and like any new viewer, Rapaport had questions.
"I started asking my wife questions, like, 'What is she talking about? Is this real?'" he explained. "Because of the behavior, I was enraptured, literally enraptured. I think it is exactly why television was invented."
His wife might have created a monster.
"I might like the shows more than my wife," Rapaport quipped.
