How do you play The Traitors?
Every season 23 celebrities from worlds of reality television, film, music, sports, comedy and sometimes royalty are put together by Host Alan Cumming in a remote Scottish castle where they'll be secretly assigned as either a Faithful or a Traitor. As everyone competes to build a prize pot worth up to $250,000, the Traitors will work in secret to keep the Faithful from being successful by creating distrust and discord amongst all the players.
During Roundtable debates, Faithfuls try to suss out by their words and deeds which player might be a Traitor and then vote to Banish them from the game. Many a wrong choice has been made in the past leading to the Traitors to "Murder" a player that is revealed the following morning. As the cast is whittled down, by the last episode if any Faithful are left standing, they'll claim the prize pot. But if any Traitor is left standing and reveals themself, they take away the bragging rights and the money.
