Candiace Defends Her "Throwaway" Traitors Vote for Rob on WWHL: "Are You Okay?"
It looks like it could be Traitor vs. Traitor for the rest of Season 4.
SPOILER WARNING: This story reveals major plot points from Episodes 1-7 of The Traitors Season 4.
All is not well in The Traitors turret, literally and figuratively.
Last week's "The Black Banquet" episode was the turning point for Season 4's three surviving Traitors — Candiace Dillard Bassett, Lisa Rinna, and Rob Rausch — as it became clear that their allegiances weren't necessarily to each other.
Candiace and Lisa were still smarting after Rob voted against Lisa in the Episode 6 Elimination Roundtable vote. They wanted him to make amends by taking heat off of Lisa by deflecting to other Faithfuls going into the next Roundtable. Instead, Rob doubled-down on Lisa's guilt with a last minute argument at the Roundtable, defending Natalie Anderson. He gave credence to Yam-Yam's "Murder" accusations against Lisa, officially breaking away from his fellow Traitors by saving himself and strengthening his alignment with the Faithful.

When it became clear Lisa would be Banished, a blindsided Candiace dropped a surprise "throwaway" vote for Rob. Their face-off in the turret is coming Episode 8 on February 5, but in real life, Candiace is shedding light on her Roundtable showdown with Rob. We break it down, below.
Why Candiace voted for Rob in Episode 7's Roundtable
Candiace made an appearance as a guest on the February 2 episode of WWHL, and during the audience question segment, host Andy Cohen passed along a viewer's critique of her vote against Rob.
"Candiace, can you see that Rob initially had to vote for Lisa since his two friends were on the chopping block and it would have looked suspect for him to vote for either Colton or Ron? And do you realize your throwaway vote for Rob makes you look suspicious since his name hadn't been floated at the table?"
Candiace replied, "I realize none of these things because they're false."

She defended her vote and continued, "Rob was a mute at this table, every other round table before this one. So for him to come out and give a state of the union address, I was looking at him like, 'Are you are you high?' Like, 'Are you okay?' There was, like, a twinkle in his eye. He, like, came out of his shell. That is suspicious to me. If I were a Faithful and I'm looking at behavior at this table and all of a sudden you're, like, switching up. You you were too passionate about somebody that you had no passion for prior to."
