Are you the kind of person who watches Peacock's hit competition reality series The Traitors (now streaming on Peacock) like it's an immersive experience? Then get off the couch and start planning your The Traitors US application because an upcoming season of the Peacock hit is coming to NBC. And it will be cast entirely with civilians, not reality stars. Coming back full circle with its own origin story, this upcoming season harkens back to The Traitors Season 1 which dropped in 2023 and featured a cast with 10 non-celebs who competed against reality series alumni.
While this kind of casting levels the playing field for everyone walking into Castle Ardross in the Scottish highlands, the players will still have to navigate the basic game play, sussing out Traitors versus Faithful and adding to the prize pot with challenges that could be worth $250,000.

You need to be a U.S. citizen or have a valid visa that allows you to travel to and from the United Kingdom and the U.S. On 1 April 2026, you must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid passport, and not be seeking public office.

There is a personal video portion of the application. Per the website: "Please upload a short video telling us anything interesting about yourself and why you want to be on The Traitors. Would you rather be a Faithful or a Traitor and why? What would your game plan be?"
When is NBC's civilian The Traitors filming?
Production is expected to begin in May to June 2026.
