SPOILER WARNING: This story reveals major plot points from Episodes 1-8 of The Traitors Season 4.

It was Traitor vs. Traitor inside and outside of the turret on The Traitors this week, as the inevitable showdown between Candiace Dillard Bassett and Rob Rausch reached a boiling point.

How to Watch

Stream The Traitors Thursdays at 9/8c exclusively on Peacock.

Last week's episode left us on a cliffhanger as their trio of Traitors was dismantled when Lisa Rinna was Banished at the Elimination, aided by a vote from Rob. Candiace was livid at the betrayal so we knew it was going to be a testy turret debate with Rob.

While Candiace has been very passionate in her camera confessionals about her Rob feelings, she came in containing her anger. She was clearly ticked off, prompting Rob to say, "You seem pretty mad at me." But there weren't fireworks between the two turret predators; they just circled one another, aware they were both now playing an individual game.

Who was murdered this week on The Traitors?

Colton Underwood smiles and wears an adorned headpiece at a full dinner table on The Traitors Episode 407.

The Faithful's biggest Traitor agitator, Colton Underwood, was Candiace's choice to Murder this week. Because Rob knew he was in the turret doghouse, he deferred to her in choosing their "Murder" from Colton, Stephen Colletti, or Natalie Anderson.

A two-fold decision on her part, she went with Colton. Per her words, he was "loud, messy and dangerous" in general, specifically to her game. He was also Rob's closest ally, and she wanted Rob to feel the pain of losing a major Faithful pawn.

When Colton was given his walking papers, he was disappointed but he also knew his aggressive gameplay made him a target. But he did take a parting shot at Candiace's gameplay, saying she was "sloppy" for shining a light on herself with her throwaway vote to Rob in the Roundtable.

For the rest of the episode, while the Faithful dithered about who might be a Traitor that's gone under the radar, Candiace and Rob waged an influence war against one another with their allies. Inside Rob's Dagger group of Faithful who have kept his advantage secret — Natalie, Eric Nam, Mark Ballas and Stephen — Colton's last suggestion of Candiace had legs with the group as they talked it out.

Meanwhile, Candiace was using her leverage with closest ally Johnny Weir to float Rob as a Traitor to Kristin and Tara because of his nervous behavior at breakfast over Colton's exit. And the only other name coming up was Stephen.

As they ate dinner, Rob asked for a private audience with Candiace who bold face told him, "You're not a Traitor, you're are a snake!" She asked him point blank about when he knew Colton was floating her name, and Rob fibbed that it was after Colton was gone. He then said her promise to take him down if she goes home was "bad sportsmanship."

As they all marched into the Elimination Roundtable, Johnny opened the floor to mention Colton's sidebar meeting with him to look at Stephen as a Traitor, but then Eric turned the conversation to Candiace, pointing out how consistent her votes have been all season, except for her "random" throwaway vote for Rob. Candiace then tried to throw focus on Rob's out of character breakfast "fumbling" which got some agreement. And then Candiace and Rob calmly went at one another with various accusations until Candiace said that Colton was Rob's Faithful beard.

When the votes were made, there was Candiace's vote for Rob, Nat's vote for Tara, and everyone else voted to Banish Candiace.

As Alan asked her to reveal her true nature, Candiace welled up a bit as she said, "I love you all so much. This experience has been life changing. I connected with so many of you so quickly." She said she was proud she played the game with "valor, love, respect and...treachery. I am a Traitor!"

Rob remains the only Traitor standing, and as Alan put it, "The Slayer of Housewives." But he's got a "join or die" offer to make so how long will he reign?
