During Madix's August 11 appearance on the Jonas Brothers' Hey Jonas! podcast, the Emmy-nominated Love Island USA host chatted with Kevin, Nick, and Joe about why she and Cohen make such a dynamic duo for the highly-anticipated reunions. As she put it, the longtime Bravo legends just "bounce off each other really well."

On the Hey Jonas! podcast, Madix shared that she and Cohen — who has famously hosted reunions for Bravo franchises like Summer House and The Real Housewives for decades — have a "such a fun time" together while unpacking a season of drama and romance with the Love Island USA cast

"I have such a fun time doing it with Andy," she explained. "I just think we bounce off of each other really well, and I've known him for so long that I just, I don't know, I like having him there, it's nice."

Madix and Cohen do, indeed, go way back. The two have been coming together for big reunion moments since Season 2 of Vanderpump Rules in 2014. 

"He has great things to say. Great input, too," Madix added on the Hey Jonas! podcast, as Nick Jonas chimed in of the the longtime host of Watch What Happens Live!, "He's great at TV, and he just gets it."

After the cast arrived in Universal City, California on Sunday, August 9 for a pink carpet event to kick off the festivities, Madix and Cohen got together with the Islanders to film the Season 8 reunion one day later, on Monday, August 10.

As for Cohen, he's previously said he's "so grateful" to co-host these big Love Island USA episodes with Madix. "I'm so grateful that Ariana is allowing me to co-host this," he said during an interview with Vulture from the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards red carpet.
